About Us

Welcome to our Web site!

We live in Grace, a small town located in the mountains of Southeast Idaho.  Our family consists of 4 boys, one girl and mom and dad.

Jim, the dad, is self-employed, working as a computer consultant and in other endeavors.  He enjoys the outdoors, particularly snowmobiling, 4-wheeling, water skiing, hunting, fishing, running (a forced hobby that he now enjoys, sorta) trading options (an expensive hobby…) playing games with his family, watching movies with family and friends and spending time with his lovely wife.  He also enjoys serving as the Stake Young Men’s President, as a Stake Clerk and on the BYU Alumni Board of Directors.

Maili, our mom, keeps very busy taking care of everyone else! She is also the Ward Young Women’s President and enjoys little quality time to herself.  She also runs a home based business during her “spare” time.

Michael recently graduated from Brigham Young University in Business Finance and has accepted employment with Goldman Sachs in New York City.  He and his beautiful bride Kelsey live on Wall Street and are thoroughly loving the New York experience.

Scott is attending college at Brigham Young University – Idaho, studying to be a High School Math & Spanish teacher. He plans on graduating in December of 2015. He enjoys sports and still participates in them.

Julie will be attending college at Brigham Young University – Idaho and studying English to become a High School English teacher. She is also planning on minoring in Music as that is one of her loves.  She still enjoys playing the piano and guitar and especially loves to read. She is also her dad’s college-football-watching-buddy!

Jason is a Junior in High School and happily still enjoys school.  He is on the school swim team, show choir and pep band and loves being involved in each of them. After High School he plans on attending Brigham Young University.

Steven is a 6th grader and has started to excel in school. He loves sports of any kind, particularly soccer.  He is a spark of energy and fun in our family.  He also teases his family every chance that he gets. He certainly keeps mom on her toes.

We all enjoy attending Church every week and Jason attends mutual on Tuesdays.  Monday night is reserved as “Family Home Evening”, a night that we spend together having spiritual lessons (well not always so spiritual but we try) and playing games.  We do enjoy spending time together, playing games and going on family trips.

We strive to follow our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  Although we have far to go, His example to each one of us helps us daily.
